The school does not authorise any holiday in term time for any reason, (not even a single day). The school enforces the Fixed Penalty Notice system of £60 per parent per child following the guidance from Bradford’s ESW Service. If a parent does request a holiday, they must meet a member of the Senior Leadership Team prior to the absence. The Senior Leadership Team will explain clearly that the absence will be unauthorised and that they are in danger of losing their child/children’s place at school and being issued a Fixed Penalty Notice. Children will be removed from roll if they do not return from a holiday in term time within twenty days.
Senior Leadership Team will also meet with the parents post-holiday to discuss with them how the absence has affected their child's attendance percentage and learning.
